Please read these terms and conditions of sale carefully as they relate to all sales made by Mount Olympus Pure Foods through this website.
Your contract will be with Mount Olympus Pure Foods (company number 10411892), whose address is: Harmony House, 87 Christian Fields, London, SW16 3JU.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a customer.
Contract
When you submit an order through our website it will constitute an offer to purchase the goods. We will send you an email acknowledging its receipt. Our subsequent dispatch of the goods will comprise the acceptance of your offer and will bring into existence a legally binding contract between us provided that you have specified a UK delivery address with your order.
Alcohol is only available for sale to persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy or attempt to buy alcohol. No persons under 18 years may place an order with Mount Olympus Pure Foods if the goods contain alcohol.
Once you submit your email address to receive the “DELICIOUS KEFIR RECIPES E-BOOK”,
your email will be stored in our database and will not be shared with anyone else. We may send you
an occasional email with updates and/or other valuable Free resources related to healthy eating and lifestyle.
Prices and availability of goods
All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery is charged extra. We do our best to ensure that the goods advertised on our website are available at the advertised price but they may not be available at that price or they may be temporarily out of stock or unavailable. If we cannot accept your order because goods are unavailable or no longer available at the advertised price we shall advise you and reject your order and give you the opportunity to amend your order.
Backorders
Many of our suppliers are small-scale, artisan producers: therefore all products are subject to availability. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Payment
Our terms of payment are COD for non-trade account holders . Delivery is within.2-5 days of placing the order and funds clearance.
We accept payment by debit cards or credit cards with Visa and MasterCard. We use a 3rd party card payment company called Pay Pal and they have a PCI level 1 compliant payment gateway. The payment will be debited from your account upon receipt of your order. Completing the payment information and submitting the order implies authority to debit the relevant card. Please note we cannot guarantee the security of any data which you send to us by email or fax.
Shipping & handling
To mainland UK (excluding Highlands & Islands) – delivery is Free for orders over £85, £2.95 for orders under £10, and £9.75 on all others.
To other parts of the UK – please contact us for information of delivery charges and delivery info.
Fresh foods, such as cheeses , will be wrapped with ice packs to maintain a cool temperature for at least 24 hours. Fragile items, such as bottles and jars will be wrapped in protective packaging.

We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the UK address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order.
If you have specified a delivery address with your order which is outside the UK you must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of your order.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or damage.
Please note that all packages should arrive between 9 am and 5 pm and must be signed for, so we advise taking delivery at a business premises. This is especially important for deliveries of chilled goods. We cannot accept responsibility for goods that have been instructed to be left unsigned by the customer.
cancellations
In relation to non-perishable goods only. You have the right to cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time from placing your order until 7 working days from the day after you received the ordered items. You must give us written notice of your cancellation by e-mail, fax or post. If you cancel your order following dispatch of the goods, you must also return the goods to us. You must not unpack goods when they are received by you if you have already cancelled your contract. You must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible. We will then refund your credit or debit card with the total value of your order (including delivery charges) within 30 days of cancellation PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you. Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage.
In relation to perishable goods and sealed items where the seal has been broken, you will not have the right to cancel your order once it has been dispatched.
returns
Everything you buy from us is dispatched in the best possible condition. If the goods you receive are damaged, defective or different from the goods you ordered you will be entitled to either replacement goods or a full refund. All goods must be examined on delivery and any loss or damage must be notified in writing or by telephone within two days from the date of delivery. Where applicable reasonable proof must be provided in order that we may claim from our insurers. After delivery we cannot accept responsibility for any defect or damage to the goods caused by unsatisfactory handling or storage in unsuitable conditions. The cost of returning the damaged, defective or dissimilar goods shall be paid by us.
Cancellation By us
1. We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- we do not deliver to your area; or
- one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error
- or if there was an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
2. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order if you do not wish to place an alternative order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Complaints and liability
- If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing of the problem within 30 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
- If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods.
- If you notify a complaint or problem to us, our obligation will be, at your option:
3.1 to make good any shortage or non-delivery;
3.2 to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective, unless that would be impossible or disproportionate; or
3.3 to reduce the purchase price by an appropriate amount; or
3.4 to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose. - Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the some or all amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause 2 above. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
Events beyond our control
Every effort will be made to carry out the contract but its performance is subject to cancellation or variation as may be necessary as a result of an act of God, War, Strike, Lockout and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access,Labour, Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought, Accident or other cause beyond the control of Mount Olympus Pure Foods.
privacy policy
You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.
Invalidity
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
Third party rights
A person who is not a party to this agreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Partied) Act 1990 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act.

These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of goods to you by us.
